Job Description 

The client offers services in information security, governance, enterprise risk management, compliance, and assurance to clients. Their solutions are based on domain knowledge in payment processing, communications, online gaming and e-commerce industries in Europe, Africa and the United States. The client adds value through the deployment of professional and management consultancy services that fit the corporate risk appetite and budget of its clients.

All the clients assignments and managed services are led by a multi-lingual, multi-disciplinary group of experienced professionals (CISM, CISA, CRISC, GWAPT) certified by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Project Management Institute (PMI) and the SANS Institute.
They deliver services and solutions to meet client requirements through the use of in-house service deployment methods. These methods enable clients to realize the benefits of the service or solution to be delivered and to control the associated risk.

They are currently looking for A Governance, Risk & Compliance Consultant.

Your role will involve working with clients to assess and help mitigate enterprise and IT risk, advise on solutions and integrate GRC software. You will be consulting to clients to implement IT Governance and industry best practice frameworks, helping to optimize IT processes and procedures. Additionally you will assist clients in maintaining compliance to regulations in the payments, health and online gaming sector. You will be working side-by-side with the IT audit and IT security team, assessing and implementing controls and complete solutions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years experience in information security or equivalent
• Clear understanding of risk management methodology and practices
• Excellent English written & oral ability
• Good Analytical & Interpretation skills
• Able to manage complex tasks as small to medium size projects
• Able to communicate complex ideas concisely
• Beneficial: CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO27001 or similar
• Beneficial: Basic scripting and programming skills
• Beneficial: Familiarity with data protection, online payment and gaming regulations

Your tasks

• Advise clients in the areas of IT Governance standards and frameworks including their implementation, risk management methodology as well as compliance management approach and tools
• Provide managed services for clients including analysis and monitoring of industry regulations, moderating risk management workshops and managing risk programs and maintain the client’s corporate policies
• Recommend improvements to the client’s policies, procedures and controls documentation
• Propose work structure and packages to plan for assignments, allocate resources and manage the delivery of assignments to the satisfaction of clients
• Prepare risk reports and work papers in German and English
• Contribute to the technical implementation of GRC solutions for clients
• Support the GRC team in improving internal processes

Your Profile
