Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

Advising the senior management team and board in relation to the strategy of the business in the UK and Rest of World.
Ensuring the company's in-house legal processes, procedures and practices are fully compliant with directives from the Central Legal team.
Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including franchise agreements, sales and purchases of goods and services, distribution agreements, sponsorship agreements and IP/IT agreements. Advising on various aspects of competition law.

 Advising on a range of matters relating to consumer law that includes Advertising, Privacy and Data Protection.
Overseeing all litigation and negotiating satisfactory resolutions.

You will need -
Previous in-house experience managing a legal team, ideally, in the Financial Sector/ Payments Arena.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to give commercial and pragmatic advice and be solutions driven.

Need a good commercial contract lawyer.

Capable of running the full legal service to the group

Outsource work to Panel Solicitors as appropriate

5-10 years PQE depending on experience

“Hands on” approach; commercial and business focused

Capable of Board presentations and representation if required

Payments experience ideal, but not vital
