Job Description
My client who are a International Payments Company with full Acquiring Licence are currently looking for a BDM – Channel Partner:
To achieve and exceed the sales targets in line with the operational plan. To maximise all business opportunities and grow the business and develop outstanding professional service to customers.
To work across various verticals supporting acquiring revenue opportunities
Be responsible and accountable for an agreed revenue target in your chosen vertical(s). Cross sell products and services relating to the Group and also third party products including DCC, Fraud, PSP sales and PCI solutions. Generate opportunities at a senior level through existing networks or direct channels and develop your pipeline through the sales cycle to go live. Ensure understanding of card scheme rules and regulations and financial modeling with reference to interchange qualification, scheme fees and margins
Provide direction on KYC/AML and boarding process for merchants. Maintain an accurate pipeline of all opportunities, contacts and account history and provide appropriate communication of such to management while maintaining up to date CRM information. Provide weekly and monthly reports as required by line manager. Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that expectations are being established, communicated, and met. Identify and develop partner relationships that will generate incremental revenue opportunities. Build relationships to assist business development, with ISO’s PSP’s and other trading partners sales teams
- Lead cross functional teams as required in sales process for new business
- Develop your own sales plans for vertical(s) and obtain support and agreement of line management and product delivery.
- Lead RFI/RFP responses as agreed by Senior Management
- Participate and attend Industry specific conferences/ forums and bodies
- Provide market intelligence to line management and other teams on competition, product performance and propose enhancements to help position and sell products
- Ensure total customer satisfaction
- Compliance on all relevant aspects of the Data Protection Act as appropriate to the role
