Job Description

Pre-Sales Manager - Payments

Our client is an established payment services provider and card payments acquirer specializing in tailor-made solutions for ecommerce transaction processing. The company is now seeking to recruit a Pre Sales Manager/Product Manager/Technical engineer to strengthen its team and complement the ever growing client base. The role is home based in the UK.

 Key Responsibilities:

Conduct discovery and assessment workshops with clients, understand and document client needs, and explain the Clients way of work, setup and operational processes.

    Demonstrate the clients systems; integration and certification environment, merchant console, partners console, merchant boarding console, etc.

         Document meeting outcomes and action items and follow- up as needed.

         Consult with operational and technical personnel to clarify intent, identify issues, and suggest a course for the client integration.

         Identify solutions that address client needs within the limitations of the Clients current offerings.

         Propose immediately available client solutions and proposed future enhancements.

         Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation.

         Document these solutions for client understanding; provide samples, flowcharts as needed.

         Suggest internal system/process improvements to better accommodate client needs.

         Follow up through the implementation of the proposed client set-up.

         Follow up throughout the client go live up till the first month of successful operation.

         Perform revisions of existing client set-ups to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements and follow up through the identification of business requirements.

         Be actively involved in analysis, solution design, client communication and implementation.

Personal Specifications:              

         Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, information technology or equivalent.

         5+ years' experience in the e-commerce payment processing industry required.

         5+ years' experience in EMV / Card Present payment processing industry required.

         5+ years proven experience working as a Product Manager, Solution Architect, Pre-sale Engineer, Application Engineer or

         Product Manager, in the online payment processing industry.

         Proven experience with customer-facing with strong technology background.

         Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments to drive sales and product developments.

         Ability to manage internal development/implementation projects.

         Exceptional communication (written and verbal, internal and external) and presentation skills.

         Fluent in English, additional knowledge in other European languages a plus.

         Strong sales capability and the ability to think outside the box.

         Independent worker, flexible in mind and attitude.

         Ability to travel a must.
